After Loki's appearance, it begins to snow in Elbaph and lightning strikes all over the island. That's thanks to the powers of Loki's Devil Fruit (no Devil Fruit name in this chapter). • Dragon Loki gets the children and their relatives to safety and then he starts fighting the MMA monsters. At the same time, the sound of drums begins to be heard on the island. Giants are surprised to hear the drums, Sommers is furious, and Imu/Gunko observes what is happening in silence.
Giants: "What's this rhythm!? Elbaph itself is shaking!!"
• In ONE OF THE MOST EPIC last double pages in “One Piece”, we see dragon Loki destroying everything in his path and defeating many MMA monsters. Luffy Gear 5 and squirrel Ragnir are on top of Loki's head. Luffy is around 4 times bigger than squirrel Ragnir. But giant Luffy is just about a third of one of Loki's horns, so image how ENORMOUS is dragon Loki. • Chapter ends with some final words from Jarul...
Jarul: "On the day of a lightning “snow storm”...!! A “gigantic beast” appears, covering the sky... And along with the “Drum of Liberation”... the “Sun God” descends...!!!"
Luffy: "Ahhyahyahya!! This is so funny!! Look at how big you are!!!"

There is no way Shanks defeated Dragon God King Loki on his own unless Loki let it happen. Loki seems like Hrasvelgr not Nidhogg. But maybe Oda is somewhat blending them together.
Imu is both the giant serpent on the right of the mural and the monster on the left. Imu is serpent like and the bottom half of its bottom is a snake with a serpents face while the other end is a devil. It is an oroborus trying to consume the world. Imu probably cannot leave The Holyland because its body is unable to move hence why it uses avatar’s. Destroying the red line will free it.
One more dragon ? Now what will be the fruit of Monkey D. Dragon? I was hoping that It would be dragon fruit but now the chances are looking littel blurry. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw the third strongest thing in the world, as there are tons of dragon types.
Well, the title of the chapter pretty much says it all. With Loki saving the kids and their parents, he will probably already have people to vouch for him not being as bad as they fought, like Jarul said, after this whole mess is over. Well, that and probably the thrashing he will give the God's Knights.
So, huge black dragon, huh? I'm not specialist but I think this fruit was inspired by this sneak that was supposed to eat the sun during Ragnarok. Then again, I may be wrong so I will appreciate correction. Also it's cool that we didn't have to wait like 10 chapters or more to see Lokis devil fruit in action so I'm glad. And yeah, Sommers is freaking idiot. Just imagine how much pissed would giants be if Imu and his minions (Sommers specificly) would let their children die, just like that. For now giants are cooperating because they want to save children taken hostage but once they would die they would no longer have ANY reason to not crush Imus party before he/she could order to take more children hostage. Seriously, if I was Imu I wouldn't want to have whole army of enraged giants trampling everything up there in Marie Geoise.
What an INSANE chapter! Easily the best one yet!
I believe Oda is speeding up the Elbaf arc. I’d even go as far as to say that before chapter 1190, the Luffy/Loki vs. Imu fight will already be over. Oda is introducing the 'final' Straw Hat member right before the final war for the One Piece.
I don’t get the hate for having 'another dragon' everyone always expected Dragon to have this fruit, and even if he has the 'Tiamat' one, it would still be sick. Dragons are ALWAYS badass.
Nidhog is more of a serpent with wings if we take Norse mythology. And the squirell is obvious take on Ratatoskr.
So I wouldnt compare Kaidos dragon to Lokis one.
Nidhog is supposed to survive Ragnarok so we are talking about one of the strongest beeings in mythology.

How did something so massive even fit inside the giant's castle? Hmm, I used to think that when it comes to zoan fruits the size of the animal you turn into is essentially equivalent to the real creature. Say, a normal sized human or giant would transform into their animal forms and said form would be normal sized for that animal. But with loki's fruit it kinda seems like the animal form is scaled to loki's normal size. I suppose it's possible that what we see now is simply the normal size of the creature loki transforms into but the true potential xebec spoke of is only seen when using the hybrid form. In which case it would be a good deal larger than loki's normal form.
Dragons have a fair bit of importance in the story's metaplot except their actual significance is not clear yet. I think this is most evident with the tenryubito's ancestors who started fashioning themselves as such upon their ascension to rulers of the world and godhood. Slaves are branded with the "hoof of the soaring dragon". Harley's mural seems to have a couple. Vegapunk made some early attempts at recreating them at punk hazard. I may be misremembering but even without kaido they were seen negatively by wano folk.
Well, I thought we'd see more dragons other than the Azure Drake, but it does feel a bit lackluster with how much hype we had around the fruit... Considering Egghead was not really about Saturn or Kizaru, Kaido remains the last big antagonist, so this would feel like a pretty lackluster reveal...
I'll remain hopeful that it's an important dragon looking creature, like the one depicted in the Harley, but with a twist to it...
If you have regular Zoans and then Mythical Zoans with the same model, it'd be weird to have a new mythological zoan of the same species but give it far more importance in terms of metaplot... they're already godly creatures.
This feel....unsettling. Oda is not one to give this much hope when a story has not even reached a climax yet. And if he intents to throw us all in despair after all this then that will be upsetting. There have been to much despair over the last arcs, now tha the Straw Hats are closest to thier Peak, they are meant to never suffer anything close to a lose again.
So Lokis fruit was a dragon fruit? still no clear answer if that was a Yggdragsil fruit. And Sommers in all his arrogance jsut thought this all would work out? (small note, it is pretty funny that so many reviewers seem to have skipped that Sommers destroyed the ship and not the Nika MMA as he was the oen that kncoekd it aside.
The transformation scaling with their initial height makes sense. Loki is magnitudes larger than Kaido. I wonder, if Dragon Loki eats Sommers, will he suffer for eternity until Imu choses to release him? Would be nice.
Not sure if it's already been discussed but, I saw a post of someone referencing an old SBS where Oda basically states that mothers are the strongest beings in the world, even stronger than Kaido (due to their love for their children), so I'm almost certain the title is in reference to that.
It looks like Mrs. Shirley powers to see the future have come to use to write some of the Elbaf mural unless Joy Boy already rode a previous Devil Fruit dragon user during Void Century. Oda having not explaining Mrs. Shirley powers from Fishman island arc seems like something done on purpose for unveil during the final saga.
Something that doesn't make sense to me is loki's apparent infatuation with lola. Going by the wiki, his capture by shanks along with his proposal to lola would have taken place within a short timeframe. I wonder if the reason shanks captured loki was to prevent him from interacting with the big mom pirates any further and making the seas even more chaotic. Given how things have played at out elbaf it seems likely that any deal loki cut with big mom was basically a scam as at this point elbaf already had moved past having a king at all.
