Read One Piece Manga Free Chapter 1175 Review On MangaRoyale, Catch the latest manga releases chapter with high-quality images. Online read NOW! Can we talk about that Nidhogg reveal?! We’ve been theorizing about Loki’s fruit for years, but a Mythical Zoan that scales its size based on the user is such a clever way to make giants even more terrifying. The fact that its "full potential" can only be reached by an ancient giant makes Loki an absolute raid boss. Also, that name-drop of the "God of War" clashing with the Sun God in the past? We’re definitely getting a Void Century flashback soon. The world-building is peaking right now.
Key Takeaways from Chapter 1175:
Loki’s Fruit: Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Model: Nidhogg.
New Move: Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no Dawn Thor Rifle.
The Mythos: Introduction of "Ragnar" (weapon) and "Ratatoskr" (confidant).
The Stakes: Imu is officially monitoring the situation in Elbaph.
⚔️ The "Monster Trio" Stan Review
"The chemistry is back!" It felt so good to see the wings of the Pirate King doing work again. Sanji burning away Sommers’ thorns with Diable Jambe to save Robin was peak "chivalry," but the highlight for me was Luffy’s reaction to Zoro. That "As expected of you!" line reminded me why I love this crew.
But the real star? Dawn Thor Rifle. Seeing Luffy bring back a Dressrosa classic but upgraded with Gear 5 and "Dawn" mechanics was insane. Poor Sommers got absolutely fried. The "LOL" in the leaks is real Luffy’s Gear 5 disrespect is reaching new levels!
π΅️ The "Theory Crafter" Review
"Imu's reaction says everything." The most chilling part of the chapter wasn't the fighting; it was that final panel with Imu. "You were in Elbaph all along!!" implies that the Nidhogg fruit (or Loki himself) has been off the World Government's radar for centuries. Also, keep an eye on that Ice Squirrel Ratatoskr mention. If the "God of War" had a confidant, who is the modern-day equivalent? Is it one of the giants we already know, or someone new? Elbaph is shaping up to be even bigger than Egghead.
π️ Theory: The "King of the Giants" vs. The "Empty Throne"
Imu’s reaction at the end of Chapter 1175 wasn't just surprise—it was a realization. For centuries, the World Government has struggled to fully subjugate Elbaph, and now we know why. The Nidhogg fruit isn't just a power; it’s a political and historical deterrent that Imu thought was lost or hidden.
1. The "Domi Reversi" Threat
Community theorists are already buzzing about the "Domi Reversi" ability (the mind-control/possession power Imu has been using on characters like Gunko).
The Move: Imu realizes Loki is too dangerous to let roam free. Instead of destroying Elbaph (which is hard to do given the giants' strength and the Shield of Elbaph), Imu might attempt to possess Loki remotely.
The Goal: Imagine a Nidhogg-sized dragon, the "largest in the world," under the direct control of the Holy Land. It would be the ultimate "Ancient Weapon" surrogate to counter Luffy’s Gear 5.
2. The "God of War" vs. The "Sun God" Rematch
Jarul’s flashback about the previous God of War clashing with the Sun God suggests a cycle.
If the original Nika and the Nidhogg user were rivals (or perhaps allies who had a falling out), Imu might be trying to manipulate Loki into fulfilling that ancient rivalry.
Imu knows that if Luffy (Nika) and Loki (Nidhogg) officially team up, the World Government has no defense against two "Gods" of that caliber. Imu's play will likely be to sow discord or force them to fight before they can form a permanent alliance.
3. Why Elbaph? Why Now?
Imu's line, "You were in Elbaph all along," implies the fruit was "lost" to history. This suggests that the giants have been protecting the Nidhogg fruit in secret, possibly passing it down only to the royal bloodline.
Loki being the "nepotism king" of the fruit explains why he was chained up. He wasn't just a "bad" giant; he was a giant with a fruit so dangerous that even his own people feared what would happen if Imu ever found out it was there.
The Final Move:
Expect a Holy Knight intervention. Now that the "signal" has been sent by Loki using his lightning, Imu knows exactly where the piece is on the board. We might see the God’s Knights descend on Elbaph not to conquer it, but to "retrieve" the Nidhogg power even if they have to take Loki’s head to do it.

Well if Zoan Fruits try to rob their users will I assume the last user of the Nidhogg fruit couldn't control it and their will got consumed and hence clashed with Nika. The assumption of the Zoan scaling with its user was correct and also makes sense. Cmom Imu, do something. I want to see how everyone scales compared with you.
Fantastic! I believe Oda is revealing much more about the First World than the Void Century in Elbaf. I suspect the First World of One Piece might have been a civilization similar to the 'Isus' (the gods) from the Assassin's Creed series—but with actual powers.
This was likely the era of great conflicts, including Ragnarok, which must have been the catalyst for the war that killed the Fire Serpent and triggered the world's first great flood. I believe the clash between Nika and Elbaf happened right then!
Moving to the Void Century, Nika’s successor, Joyboy, managed to ally himself with the Ancient Giants, but the King of that era hadn't succeeded in consuming that legendary fruit.
Given how things are progressing, I expect an intense, rapid fight between Imu vs. Loki and Luffy. The end of the Elbaf arc will likely lead directly into the Final War arc. Faced with this threat, the chances of the World Government going 'all-in' are massive!
Hmm, weird that oda took the time to explain that loki's fruit size transformation is proportional to the user. I suppose the implication could be that this fruit is special that way in contrast to other fruits which would simply produce animals of equivalent size to the normal form of the user (as in, a normal sized person would transform into a normal sized animal).
Weirdly enough it seems like loki's fruit was wielded by an enemy of the sun god.
So zoro and sanji could get rid of the vines... So it turns out dealing with this was a skill issue. I thought the thorns themselves could be indestructible. Bit of a shame that it was seemingly luffy who dealt with sommers. Though I suppose he could still regenerate. No mention of dorry and brogy, I thought they would put up more of a fight.
I'm interested in the ease with which Sanji burned the thorns and Zoro cut them, and mildly interested if the thorns are actually plant matter, or exotic energy matter that look like thorns. I am interested in knowing whether or not Jinbe could burst Gunko's arrows, or if her power defenses are higher than Sommer's.
I also like that Imu is not all-knowing. Imu's probably flying by the seat of his pants, and is holding onto power probably because there hasn't been a significant enough force opposing the world order until this generation. His play to try to capture Harald and Elbaf read as more "ruler desperate to hold onto power" as opposed to mastermind ruler.
The Nidhogg and Nika or JoyBoy were adverseries? Foreshadowing or is Luffy defying that negative threat. Cause it still feels like everything is gong to well. Not that I am compaining about that, I jsut hope despair is not being around the corner to trick us.
So, according to Jarul Loki isn't "Sun God" but "God of war" and previous one even fought Nika. Guess that's why giants praise the Sun God now, because somehow "God of war" lost to him but in a way that made him and giants respect and follow Nika. I like that. Also it's cool that thorns of "mighty" Holy Knight Sommers were so easly destroyed. Btw, I was kinda surprised that they behave like real plants that can be burned down or cut with something that is sharp enough. That’s probably fault of black and white drawings but they didn't really looked very "planty" but rather let's say "ghostly". Well anyway, I'm glad that things seem to go right way for our heroes but it also makes me worry that now when Imu know about Lokis power things will go south right away. At least Sommers got smited by Luffy and I bet that will look hilarious once raws will be out.
I think it sort of depends. IMO there's something out there that pertains to the metaplot that requires the utility provided by something this massive. Loki turns into a particularly massive dragon but imagine if rather than loki it was shanks who ate the fruit. Going by the description given here shank's dragon form would still be much larger than, say, kaido's. How much of an edge would loki have over this hypothetical shanks? I don't buy the difference being overwhelming. And as we know size isn't necessarily an advantage in a fight. It can be but it can also make you a big target. Hence we go back to out there in the world there being something that needs to be punched with something as massive as loki.
So Loki's fruit is basically similar to Sanjuan Wolf's I guess, the Deka Deka no mi. It makes you a "gigantification human" and arguably the largest in existence (human). SW is like 10x an ordinary giant, so about 5x bigger than Loki's base, but the Dragon fruit multiples that so I wonder which is bigger now.
I wonder though if Zunesha or something ate either fruit how massive they would be? Like the size of a continent? the moon? the world itself?
If the Nidhogg and Nika clash was not metaphorical but historal at Elbaf, I personally think it happened during the Second world with Joy Boy and for a few plot assumptions:
First World collapse is due to Ancient kingdom bringing Underground energy to surface level (massive explosion that created the Red Line and engulfed the world into darkness)
Humanoid races (dwarves, fishmen, giants, lunarians, three eye tribe etc…) didn’t exist in First world and appeared after the First World collapse due to human race exposition to Underground energy in different places
The First World Ancient Kingdom survivors left the Earth for Moon due to Giant Black Cloud (world engulfed in darkness) and only came back to Earth thousands of years later after all Moon ressources had been emptied (Enel mini-adventure)
When Ancient Kingdom came back to Earth it discovered human race alterations which made it study lineage factor alteration
They invented Dream Fruit technology and gave them to humanity during Second world to atone for the sin of the First World collapse
Joy Boy who was a man from Ancient Kingdom invented Nika DF in order to succeed at Free energy project thanks to Nika DF powers
All of this means that there wasn’t any Ancient Giants/Giants nor DFs during the First World so a real clash couldn’t happen during First World but only a mythical one.
The Mythical Zoans were only mythical creatures during the First World which is why the DFs designed after them were named Mythical Zoans when they were created in Second World unlike for the Ancient Zoans which were First World extinguished species and normal Zoans which were surviving species.
A final side note - Ancient Giants are probably the biggest human size lineage factor alterations from First World collapse that mostly stabilized to Giant size lineage factor alteration over the thousands of years.
So Imu and gorosei referring to Luffy as Nika and now Imu to Loki as Nidhog pkus the information zoan have a will of their own might be that zoan used to be real creatures transformed into DF ( or at least some of them e.g. mythical etc
