If there’s one thing that keeps Frieren: Beyond Journey's End fans coming back, it’s the quiet, enduring bond between the elven mage Frieren and the late hero Himmel. Decades after his passing, Himmel’s memory continues to guide and inspire her and now, collectors can immortalize one of the pair's most romantic moments.
SEGA’s Luminasta figure series is officially paying tribute to the fan-favorite couple. Revealed recently by Toy People News, the upcoming "Frieren & Himmel - Eternal Love" set beautifully captures their iconic ring-exchange scene, guaranteed to melt the hearts of "Frimmel" shippers everywhere.
Recreating a Picture-Perfect 'Proposal'
The new figure set is a direct callback to Chapter 30 of the manga (and Season 1, Episode 14 of the anime). During a bittersweet flashback, Himmel drops to one knee to present Frieren with a ring designed after the mirror lotus
a flower that, in Kanehito Yamada’s fantasy universe, symbolizes eternal love. It’s a quiet confession that Frieren only truly begins to understand years later, fiercely guarding the keepsake long after Himmel is gone.
Figure Details at a Glance:
Dynamic Sculpting: Sold together as a single set, the figures are crafted with a stunning sense of motion. Himmel’s cloak and Frieren’s signature pigtails are sculpted as if they are being lifted by a gentle breeze.
Anime-Accurate Expressions: Himmel wears his trademark soft, adoring smile, while Frieren sports her classic, stoic yet contemplative gaze.
Arcade Exclusive: Like other Luminasta releases, this gorgeous statue will be available exclusively as a claw machine prize upon its official release in Japan.
A Hilarious Nod to Frieren’s Greatest Weakness
Of course, a Frieren merchandise drop wouldn't be complete without a tribute to the great mage's most hilarious flaw: her absolute inability to resist a suspicious treasure chest.
During SEGA's recent "2026 Product Flash Report," the company also unveiled the Frieren in Mimic PLUS. This is an upgraded variant of a highly sought-after figure originally released in 2024. The set includes a detailed model of the deceptive monster, complete with rows of razor-sharp teeth and a protruding pink tongue. Naturally, the accompanying Frieren figure is designed to be stuffed head-first into the monster's maw, perfectly recreating the series' best running gag.
The Unstoppable Rise of the Fantasy Epic
Since its manga debut in April 2020, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End has rapidly cemented itself as a modern staple of the high-fantasy genre. It dominated BookWalker's digital sales charts last year, setting records that its competitors have struggled to match.
What's Next for the Franchise?
The Anime: Following the massive success of Season 1, Season 2 of Madhouse’s critically acclaimed adaptation recently wrapped up its run during the Winter 2026 season. The studio has already announced that Season 3 is slated to debut in October 2027.
Where to Enjoy: You can catch the anime streaming on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix, or read the officially translated English manga via VIZ Media.
SEGA's Luminasta line has not yet confirmed an exact 2026 release window for either of the new figures, so collectors will need to keep their eyes peeled and their claw-machine skills sharp for future updates.
